I recently contacted The Cabin Depot concerning an operational issue with my Black Stag II woodstove. I found the support staff to be very knowledgeable, helpful and they were able to quickly answer my questions to my complete satisfaction. By way of supplementary information for best results on any wood stove, better quality firewood must be used, ideally a hardwood, to optimize heat production and prolong the burn period. Damp, punky or firewood having a thick bark will not produce the results that woodstoves are engineered to produce. B. Horth Alberta, Canada

Stove works amazingly well, 2700sqft house and I’ve had it up to 26 degrees which the dogs tell me is way too warm. Built well, draft control works great and it keeps a hot bed of coals for over 12 hours requiring only a small bit of kindling to get it going again.
